EVO is a custom content management system built by e:Design Inc. This system was designed to be flexible in its ability to re-purpose data for both websites and printing needs. EVO makes heavy use of an Entity-Attribute-Value database and exports primarily to XML, HTML or JSON.
As part of the development team my contributions included:
- Developed the specifications and contributed to the overall design goals of the project.
- Helped develop the versioning and rollback functionality.
- Improved functionality to the Edit-In-Place feature, adding multi-lingual capabilities.
- Developed the first websites to use the CMS as a testing ground to iron out bugs and weak areas of the program.
