Making Brands Social – Vitrue

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

While working for Vitrue’s Client Delivery team I was responsible for the front-end implementation of custom Facebook pages developed on the Vitrue platform.  In some cases the platform didn’t meet the needs of the clients, I then worked with other Ruby on Rails engineers to deliver a custom Facebook application.

  • Implemented front-end HTML/CSS and Javascript on the Vitrue’s Social Relationship Management platform.
  • Rapidly developed Facebook apps for Fortune 500 companies using a mixture of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails.
  • Provided necessary support for Vitrue’s Social Relationship Management platform to high-profile clients.
  • Worked on a number of high-profile Facebook pages including, Microsoft Windows, Samsung, Intel and Intuit TurboTax.

UX work while at Vitrue

As with allot of projects sometimes the scope and requirements are not fully thought through when working with a client, in this case I discussed with the client their needs, used prototyping tools such as Adobe Fireworks and delivered them wireframes that would help them realize their intended goals.

In most cases the wireframes would require very little revision and they could be used to start developing the final artwork and implementation of the project.
